what you get in it
Coachbuilt motorhome from RS Motorhomes built in 2004 in their classic RaceCruiser style
7.5T that can be driven on a pre 1997 licence with 4.25 litre engine - we can get up to 18-19.5 mpg (we keep a spreadsheet of mileage and fuel consumption that we can show you)
so comfortable to drive and extremely manouverable and just hums away eating up the miles with ease and with only just over 108,000 miles on the clock we are often told "you've hardly run it in yet"!

Mercedes built in Air suspension - one of the great things that makes it so comfortable to drive is the air suspension which also has additional benefits to help you level up from to back when parked up and also fantastic for making loading things into the garage really easy
we are the third owner and we are impressed with how good condition it is still in for its age (well we would say that wouldn't we!) but before buying it we were often amazed at how normal motorhomes age so quickly
AM / FM / Bluetooth / USB cab mounted sound system that can be controlled by the Sony app and has an additional speaker in the rear giving great sound and can be used with the TV / laptops / Google Chromecast too
Avtex Digital TV with 2 x USB ports and 2 x HDMI inputs
External Digital TV Aerial
External Digital TV Aerial
"Motorhome Wi-Fi" unit fitted for connecting to external Wi-Fi connections - we have access to BT Wi-Fi's and have connected to some that are over a kilometre away (and even a McDonald's Wi-Fi that was two kilometres away!) - it is a directional antenna which means it is stronger than an omni directional antenna (multiple directions) so it is on an extendable pole operated from the inside meaning you can get it higher than the van and in every direction without leaving the comfort of the van
4G router that you put a SIM card into for 2/3/4G internet access that creates an internal private Wi-Fi to give you the best chance of getting a mobile signal inside the van
lots of LED lighting and lots of coloured LED's too to give you mood lighting
a diesel Webasto heating and hot water system - very quick to warm up and it is on-demand so unlike normal Truma motorhome boilers that heat a few litres of water and then you run out and have to wait before the next person takes a shower, this keeps delivering piping hot water - the heating has blown air vents around the vehicle and because it is diesel heating you can even have it in operation whilst driving which is wonderful in winter to be able to turn up to site with it all toasty warm
all habitation windows are double glazed and the walls are nice and thick giving excellent insulation which is great for colder days / nights but actually is fanatastic for summer too keeping us much cooler than our previous "normal" motorhomes used to
what attracted us to it is the huge lounge area that just gives you so much space and doesn't make you feel like you are living on top of each other - all leather seating means it is really easy to keep clean with any kids and pets
a large over-garage bed area easily makes a big double sleeping area, we had it as two singles for our kids and now just one single (when our son left home) and with a separating door means our daughter had her own space and more importantly - so did we!
a smaller double bed over the cab and then the lounge can be made into a double bed too
the kitchen is a really great layout, lots of space and storage and something that impressed us was simple things; the gas oven (and grill) is a proper one meaning you can cook a roast dinner and more importantly bake cakes as good as if you were at home - also having a sink with wide pipes is brilliant (compared to our previous motorhomes that take ages to drain a sink, this one just drains away so quickly)
it has a 3 way large fridge freezer (elec / gas 12V)
microwave - we thought we would never use it, but it has proved to be so useful, from re-heating drinks, to cooking packet rice instead of creating loads of steam by boiling it in a pan
the previous owners to us never knew what size the water and waste tanks were but they are big, so the water tank takes a while to fill but means you are self sufficient for a good amount of time and the four of us could have several showers
the bathroom has a fairly small sink but still manageable and has an outlet for the heating system so is toasty warm too - the toilet works on a black tank basis and it lasts the three of us up to 8 days between emptying so gives you huge flexibility - it is emptied with a macerator (electric pump and combined chopper) with hoses up to 20m in length so it can be emptied without being close to a dump point
garage - well this is simply huge and we can fit so much into it - never now do you need to think "do I take this or that?" you can just take both and it is 6 foot tall meaning even I can stand up in it
side lockers - and even with the huge garage there are even more outdoor lockers that contain lots of storage space
awning - this is a full on awning from the wonderful Big Awning Company - it is 7m x 4m and gives an amazing space - unless you know awnings from this company then this is not like any motorhome awning you might have encountered before - made with big strong aluminium poles and bars and very thick roof and sides materials - during a storm in Cornwall we witnessed everyone else taking their tents and awnings down but this was still standing!
it gives so much usable space our friend who races his Mazda at race circuits was able to use it as a full on garage making his other competitors quite jealous!

batteries - being a lorry it is a 24V starter battery system that also runs the diesel heating system and we have put two brand new 180ah Duracell extra thick plate betteries so that it can best handle the mixture of leisure and heavy cranking starter requirements
a petrol generator - this has been so useful, the ability to run 240V equipment wherever you are, even the microwave etc or just use it to top up your leisure batteries if you are off grid or wild camping for an extensive period - it is stored in a weather proof box under the lorry and has buttons to operate it from inside the van meaning you don't even need to go outside!
it has a Gas IT system for LPG so you can save a fortune on not needing Calor gas bottles but as the only things that run on gas are the cooker and fridge when it is not on electric then the gas lasts for ages
2 new front tyres and the four rear tyres were bought in Aug 2018 and are all Bridgestone
reversing camera fitted in the cab
a tracker - we will give full details on this to the new owner but obviously will not publish any details publicly suffice to say it is great system
